Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a combined value of EGP 8 billion through two issues on Monday, 22 July 2024.
The first auction was valued at EGP 3 billion, carrying a maturity period of two years until 2 July 2026, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second issue amounted to EGP 5 billion and will mature in three years on 2 July 2027.
A week ago, the CBE auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) as well as T-bonds at an aggregated value of EGP 62 billion.
