Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 main index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) fell by 2.92% to close Sunday at 28,503.63 points.

The Shariah index also declined by 3.13% to 2,705.23 points.

Similarly, the EGX100 EWI as well as the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI retreated by 4.32% to 9,299.81 points and by 4.63% to 6,492.97 points, respectively.

The turnover totalled EGP 3.15 billion through the trading of 1.15 billion shares.

Meanwhile, the market cap hit EGP 1.94 billion at the end of the session.

As for trading on securities, the foreign investors were the net buyers with EGP 38.12 million. On the other hand, both the Egyptian and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 27.70 million and EGP 10.41 million, respectively.
