Dubai – Mubasher: Morocco’s gross domestic product growth will likely accelerate to 4.4% and 5% in 2015 and 2016 respectively, compared with 2.9% in 2014, said the International Monetary Fund.

The North African country registered 4.6% average GDP growth between 2000 and 2010, according to the ‘Regional Economic Outlook’ report issued by the fund.

Morocco’s inflation rate reached 0.4% in 2014 and will likely reach 1.5% and 2% in 2015 and 2016 in a row. Average inflation reached 1.8% for the period between 2000 and 2010, the fund said.
