Morocco will send a high-profile delegation to attend Egypt’s economic summit this week, reported local gazette Hespress.
The Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) will take place from 13-15 March in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh under the theme of “Egypt the Future”.
The delegation will include Morocco’s finance minister Mohamed Boussaid, in addition to head of the country’s enterprices union Confédération générale des entreprises du Maroc.
Egypt’s summit aims to lure $20 billion in investments and restore investor confidence in its economy, which has been battered by nearly four years of unrest following the January 2011 revolt.
