Afaq for Energy Co PLC announced that its profits rose by 112% to JOD 10.47 million during the first half of 2014 while the company achieved JOD 4.91 profits during the first half of 2013.

Financial statements of the company showed that operation profits during the first half increased to JOD 15 million compared to JOD 8.7 million in the first half of 2013.

Earnings per share hit JOD 0.095 in the first half of 2014 against JOD 0.045 in the same period last year.

The profits of the company during the second quarter of 2014 also increased to JOD 5.6 million against JOD 3.81 million in the same period of 2013.
