Profits of Middle East Insurance jumped by 72.2% to JOD 2.5 million in the first six months of 2014 compared to JOD 1.4 million during the same period of 2013.

Financial statement of the company showed that revenues increased by 24% to JOD 12.14 million from JOD 9.8 million in the same period of 2013.

As a result, earnings per share rose to JOD 0.121 against JOD 0.070 in the first half of the last year.

During the second quarter this year, the company’s profits increased by 44% to JOD 255.4 thousand from JOD 457 thousand in the same period of 2013.
