Crude oil consumption increased in Jordan by 17% to 152 thousand barrels per day during the first six months this year. CEO of Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company ltd, Eng Abdel-Kareem Al Alaween, said that there is an increase of about 22 thousand barrels per day. He added that this increase resulted from Egyptian natural gas outage as well as the increase in electricity consumption.
