Al Israa for Islamic Finance and Investment PLC turned to losses of JOD 287.7 thousand in the first half of 2014 against JOD 45.6 thousand profits in the same period of 2013.

Losses per share hit JOD 0.014 in the first half this year, while earnings per share hit JOD 0.002 in the first half last year.

Financial statement of the company stated that revenues declined by 55% to JOD 242.7 thousand in H1-14 against JOD 540.46 thousand in H1-13. Expenses increased by 12.4% to JOD 527.18 thousand compared with JOD 468.9 thousand in the first half of 2013.

The company had turned to losses of JOD 102.3 thousand in the first quarter this year compared with JOD 59.5 thousand in the same quarter of 2013.
