Arab Banking Corporation-Jordan announced that its profits increased slightly by 2.65% to JOD 6.3 million in the first half of 2014 compared with JOD 6.15 million in the same period last year.

Earnings per share increased slightly to JOD 0.057 in H1-14 against JOD 0.056 in H1-13.

Financial statements of the bank showed that revenues increased by 5% to JOD 18.46 million in the first six months this year against JOD 17.58 million in the same period of 2013.

Expenses hit JOD 12.37 million this year compared with JOD 11.42 million in the first half last year, with an increase of 8.28%.

As for the second quarter, the bank’s profits rose by 4.67% to JOD 3.27 million against JOD 3.13 million in the second quarter last year.
