National Petroleum Co announced that its profits increased by 18.2% to JOD 928 thousand in the first quarter of 2014 compared with JOD 785 thousand in the first half of 2013.

Earnings per share increased to JOD 0.062 in H1-14 against JOD 0.052 in H1-13.

Financial statement of the company showed that its portion of gas revenues declined by 7.9% to JOD 697.57 thousand in the first half this year compared with JOD 757.57 thousand in the first half last year.

In the second quarter this year, the company’s profits jumped by 74.48% to JOD 421 thousand compared with JOD 241.3 thousand in the second quarter of 2013.
