Jordan International Insurance announced that its profits increased by 118.19% to JOD 793.7 thousand in the first half of 2014 compared with JOD 363.76 thousand in the same period last year.
Earnings per share hit JOD 0.044 in H1-14 from JOD 0.02 in H1-13.
According to the company’s financial statement, total revenues rose by 22.8% to JOD 5.15 million in the first half against JOD 3.38 million in the first half last year.
In the second quarter, the company’s losses declined by 59.5% to JOD 92.7 thousand compared with JOD 229.13 thousand losses in the second quarter of 2013.
