Losses of General Mining Co rose by 33.06% to JOD 204.56 thousand in the first half of 2014 compared with JOD 153.7 thousand in the same period of 2013.

Losses per share hit JOD 0.136 in H1-14 against JOD 0.102 in H1-13.

The company’s net sales declined to JOD 12.4 thousand in the first half compared with JOD 414.8 thousand last year.

In the second quarter this year, losses declined to JOD 134.5 thousand against JOD 155.7 thousand in the second quarter of 2013.

The company had turned to losses of JOD 70.06 thousand in the first quarter this year against JOD 1.89 thousand profits in the first quarter last year.
