Profits of National Aluminum Industrial Co increased by 49.97% to JOD 303.4 thousand in the first half of 2014 compared with JOD 202.3 thousand in the same period of 2013.

Earnings per share hit JOD 0.035 in H1-14 against JOD 0.023 in H1-13.

Financial statement of the company showed that sales plunged by 14.08% to JOD 5.68 million in the first half this year compared with JOD 6.62 million in the same period last year. Sales costs declined also by 16.8% to JOD 5.13 million compared with JOD 6.17 million last year, hence, total general profits declined by 23.17% to JOD 557.13 thousand against JOD 452.30 thousand in the same period of 2013.

During the second quarter this year, the company’s profits jumped by 63.05% to JOD 285.28 thousand compared with JOD 174.95 thousand in the same quarter last year.
