Al-Quds index shed 0.14% losing 0.75 point and closed at 521.79 in red territory.

The general Index declined at the end of today’s session by 0.23% losing 0.62 point and closed at 276.00.

Total of 151.8 thousand shares are traded through 123 transactions at a turnover of $492.2 thousand. 16 companies participated in trading, 3 rose, 3 declined and 7 kept flat.

The top three gainers were Palestine Investment and Development Co which increased by 1.9%, The National Bank which rose by 1.75% and The National Carton Industry Co which rose by 0.63%.

The top three losers were Palestine Investment Bank which declined by 4.76%, Union Construction and Investment which plunged by 4.65% and Palestine Industrial Investment Co which shed 2.9%.

At the sectors level today, investment sector lost 0.48%, banks sector decreased by 0.21% and services sector declined by 0.20% while insurance sector rose by 0.23%.

It should be noted that the banking sector led Al-Quds Index 0.02% up at the end of the session to 522.54 points gaining 0.10 point. The general index rose also by 0.02% gaining 0.04 point and closed at 276.62 points.
