The benchmark index of Iraqi Stock Exchange declined by 0.46% or 0.46 point and closed at 100.62 points after it closed yesterday’s session at 101.08 points.

Out of 3.25 billion shares were traded through 586 transactions at a turnover of IQD 3.45 billion. 46 companies participated in trading today, 8 rose, 27 declined while the remaining 11 ones kept flat.

The top three gainers were Al Ameen for Financial Investment Co which rose by 14.06%, Modern Paints Industries Co which increased by 8.33% and Baghdad of Iraq Company for Public Transport and Real Estate Investments which soared by 4.35%.

On the other hand, the top three losers were Ready Made Clothes Co which declined by 9.8%, Elaf Islamic Bank which decreased by 7.14% and Babylon Bank which shed 4.8%.

It is worth mentioning that the benchmark index of Iraqi bourse had declined yesterday by 0.10% losing 0.10 point and closed at101.08 points.
