Al-Quds index declined by 0.47% losing 2.42 points and closed at 513.97 points pressured by investment sector which lost 1.03%.

The General index plunged by 0.35% losing 0.96 point and closed at 272.75 points.

Total of 243.65 thousand shares were traded through 78 transactions at a turnover of $536.75 thousand.

Out of 18 shares of companies were traded, 5 rose, 9 declined while the remaining 4 ones kept flat.

The top three gainers were The National Carton Industry Co which rose by 3.96%, Union Construction and Investment which increased by 2.44% and Palestine Islamic Bank which rose by 1.5%.

The top three losers were Global Com Telecommunication Plc which declined by 9.09%, The Arab Real Estate Co Ltd which decreased by 3.7% and The National Bank which shed 3.48%.

At the sectors level, the investment sector lost 1.03%, the services sector declined by 0.27%, the banks sector decreased by 0.12% and the industrial sector shed 0.03%.

It should be noted that Al-Quds index had declined yesterday by 0.27% losing 1.42 points and closed at 516.39 points.

The General index also had plunged yesterday losing 0.68 point by 0.25% and closed at 273.71 points.
