The General index declined by 0.44% losing 1.20 points and closed at 271.55 points.
Total of 287.3 thousand shares were traded through 83 transactions at a turnover of $820.12 thousand. 11 companies participated in trading, 7 declined and 4 kept flat.
The top three losers were Palestine Islamic Bank which declined by 2.96%, Palestine Real Estate Investment Co which shed 1.67% and Arab Palestinian Investment Co which plunged by 0.9%.
At the sectors level, the investment sector led other ones to decline, as it lost 0.66%, followed by the services sector which shed 0.54%, banks sector which plunged by 0.31% and the industrial sector which decreased by 0.03%.
Al-Quds index closed yesterday’s session at 513.97 points losing 0.47% or 2.42 points, while the General index declined by 0.35% or 0.96 point and closed at 272.75 points.
