Al-Quds index shed 0.17% or 0.86 point and closed at 510.49 points after services index declined by 0.32%.

The General index lost 0.11% or 0.30 point and closed at 271.25 points.

Out of 332.2 thousand shares were traded through 78 transactions at a turnover of $500.8 thousand. 18 companies participated in trading, 6 rose 8 declined and 4 remained unchanged.

The top three gainers were Golden Wheat Mills PLC which rose by 4%, Palestine Real Estate Investment Co which increased by 1.69% and Global United Insurance Co which soared by 1.62%.

The top three losers were Global Com Telecommunication Plc which lost 10%, Palestine Plastic Industries Co Ltd which decreased by 4.35% and The Arab Real Estate Co Ltd. which lost 3.85%.

The services index lost 0.32%, followed by investments which declined by 0.27% while insurance index rose by 0.23%, industrials rose by 0.21% and banks index increased by 0.20%.

The benchmark index closed yesterday’s session losing 0.51% or 2.62 points and closed at 511.35 points. The General index lost 0.44% or 1.20 points and closed at 271.55 points.
