Al-Quds index ended today’s session declining by 0.64% or 3.27 points and closed at 509.75 points pressured by services sector which plunged by 0.76%. The General index shed 0.53% losing 1.43 points and closed at 270.86 points.
Out of 367 thousand shares were traded through 84 transactions at a turnover of $557.76 thousand. 18 companies participated in trading, 2 rose, 9 declined while the remaining 7 ones kept flat.
The two gainers were Wataniya Palestine Mobile Telecommunications which rose by 1.3% and The National Bank which increased by 0.87%.
On the other hand, the top three losers Global Com Telecommunication Plc which decreased by 10%, Palestine Plastic Industries Co Ltd which declined by 4.76% and Palestine Islamic Bank which shed 3.05%.
During today’s session, services sector lost 0.76%, followed by investments sector which declined by 0.41%, then insurance which plunged by 0.38% and industrials which plunged by 0.20%.
Last week, Al-Quds index rose by 0.50% gaining 2.53 points and closed at 513.02 points, while the General index rose by 0.38% gaining 1.04 points and closed at 272.29 points.
