The benchmark index ended Wednesday’s session in the red as it declined by 4.49% losing 4.50 points and closed at 95.7 points.
Total of 19.025 billion shares were traded through 558 transactions at a turnover of IQD 19.025 billion. 47 companies were traded, 23 rose, 12 declined and 12 remained unchanged.
The top three gainers were Iraqi Company for Engineering Works which rose by 7.84%, Iraqi Date Processing and Marketing Co which increased by 7.75% and Al Ameen for Insurance Co which added 5.56%.
On the other hand, the top three losers were Asiacell Communications PJSC which declined by 10%, Al Mosul for Fun Fairs which decreased by 5% and North Bank for Finance and Investment which shed 3.17%.
Yesterday, the benchmark index of Iraqi stocks declined by 0.16% losing 0.16% and closed at 100.2 points.
