Emirates Driving Company (DRIVE) announced, in a statement to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), its appointment of Khaled Khalifa Hamdan Salmen Al Mansouri as chief executive officer (CEO) for the Company, effective October 1.

DRIVE had previously announced that its Board of Directors had approved the resignation of its board member and CEO Abdullah Al Amiry as at September 4. Khaled Khalifa Al Mansouri was appointed as Deputy CEO.

DRIVE reported a profit of AED 35.7 million during the first half of 2014 compared to AED 22.56 million during the same period in 2013, registering a profit surge by 58.4%.

The Company's capital amounts to AED 89.8 million divided on 89.8 million shares at par value AED 1 per share.
