The benchmark index of Jordan bourse continued its losses for the third consecutive session hurt by financial and services sectors on fighting with ISIS militants in Iraq and Syria.
The benchmark index lost 1.47 points or 0.07% and declined to 2102.88 points, the lowest since last August.
Total of 8 million shares were traded through 2862 at a turnover of JOD 5.6 million.
The shares of 119 companies were traded, 40 rose, 41 declined and the remaining ones kept flat.
At the sectors level, the financial sector shed 0.12% and the services sector decreased by 0.12% while the industrial sector rose by 0.06%.
The top three gainers were, the Al-rou'ya For Investments by 9.09%, Jordan Emirates Insurance Company P.s.c by 8.70% and Middle East Insurance by 5.33%.
The top three losers were, Taameer Jordan Holdings Public Shareholding Company by 6.25%, First National Vegetable Oil Industries Co. by 5.56% and Resources Company For Development And Investment Plc by 5.26%.
