The benchmark index of Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) closed on Wednesday at 2106.34 points, registering an increase of 0.07%.

Trading volume reached 8.2 million shares, at a turnover of JOD 6.7 million, traded through 3,589 transactions.

Shares of 126 companies were traded, of which 48 rose, 42 declined, and 36 remained unchanged.

On all sectors level, the services index leveled up by 0.65%, the industrial index increased by 0.24%, and the financial index decreased by 0.13%.

The top three gainers were the Taameer Jordan Holdings Public Shareholding Company by 7.69%, Northern Cement Company by 5.17%, and Alshamekha for Real Estate and Financial Investments by 4.84%.

The top three decliners were First National Vegetable Oil Industries Company by 5.26%, Assas for Concrete Products Company by 5.00%, and Intermediate Petrochemicals Industries Company by 4.76%.
