The Palestine Exchange (PEX) closed on Thursday at 500.59 points, losing 0.79% or 3.97 points. The general index dropped 0.62% or 1.66 points to 266.28 points.

Trading volume reached 130.86 THD shares, at a turnover of $302.74 THD, traded through 110 transactions by 13 companies, of which four gained, five dropped and four remained unchanged.

On the sectors level, the insurance index gained 0.39%, whereas the banking and financial, the investment, and the services indices fell 0.03%, 0.80% and 1.11% respectively. The industry index stabilized at its previous level.

The top three gainers were: Global Com Telecommunication Plc by 11.11%, Ahleia Insurance Group by 6.67% and Al Quds Bank by 1.11%. While, the top three decliners were: Al Iqaria Trading Investment Co by 5%, Wataniya Palestine Mobile Telecommunications by 3.95% and Palestine Development and Investment by 1.38%.
