The Palestine Exchange (PEX) closed on Wednesday at 502.39 points, adding 0.36% or 1.80 points. The general index gained 0.34% or 0.89 points to 267.17 points.

Trading volume reached 856.27 THD shares, at a turnover of $1.23 million, traded through 74 transactions by 16 companies, of which seven gained, five dropped and four remained unchanged.

On the sectors level, the banking and financing, the insurance, the investment and the services indices rose by 0.03%, 0.39%, 1.53%, and 0.14% respectively, whereas the industry index fell 0.27%.

The top three gainers were: Palestinian Distribution and Logistics Services by 31.94%, Ahleia Insurance Group by 6.25% and Palestine Real Estate Investment Co by 3.57%. While, the top three decliners were: Union Construction and Investment by 4.76%, Jerusalem Cigarette Co Ltd by 4.65%, and Wataniya Palestine Mobile Telecommunications by 2.74%,
