The Palestine Exchange (PEX) closed on Monday at 503.01 points, gaining 0.12% or 0.62 points. The general index rose 0.09% or 0.23 points to 267.40 points.

Trading volume reached 129,002 shares, at a turnover of $213.55 THD, traded through 120 transactions by 16 companies, of which eight gained, four dropped and four remained unchanged.

On the sectors level, the banking and financing, the industry, the insurance, and the services indices rose by 0.23%, 0.01%, 0.26%, and 0.67% respectively, whereas the investment index fell 1.51%.

The top three gainers were: The Arab Real Estate Co by 4.17%, Al Takaful Palestinian Insurance Co by 4% and the National Bank by 3.51%. While, the top three decliners were: Palestine Commercial Bank by 4.11%, Palestine Development and Investment by 2.74%, and the National Carton Industry Co by 1.94%,
