The benchmark index of Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) closed on Wednesday at 2102.00 points, registering a decline by 0.18%.

Trading volume reached 4.7 million shares, at a turnover of JOD 4.1 million, traded through 2,476 transactions.

Shares of 128 companies were traded, of which 33 increased, 51 decreased, and 44 remained unchanged.

On all sectors level, the financial index inched up by 0.01%, the services index leveled down by 0.53%, and the industrial index decreased by 0.24%.

The top three gainers were The United Insurance by 7.32%, Real Estate Development by 5.26%, and Societe Generale De Banque by 5.17%.

The top three decliners were First National Vegetable Oil Industries Company by 5.26%, and Jordanian Management and Consulting Company as well as United Cable Industries Company by 5.00%.
