The Palestine Exchange (PEX) closed on Sunday at 492.95 points, rising 0.31% or 1.50 points. The general index gained 0.25% or 0.65 points to 262.88 points.
Trading volume reached 255.88 THD shares, at a turnover of $682.64 THD, traded through 90 transactions by 13 companies, of which three gained, six dropped and four remained unchanged.
On the sectors level, the investment index added 2.53%, whereas the services, the industry, the banking and financial indices fell 0.25%, 0.19% and 0.20% respectively. The insurance index stabilized at its previous level.
The top three gainers were: Palestine Development and Investment by 4.84%, the National Bank by 1.75% and Palestine Telecommunications by 0.18%. While, the top three decliners were: Palestine Real Estate Investment Co by 3.51%, Wataniya Palestine Mobile Telecommunications by 2.74%, and Palestine Islamic Bank by 2.31%.
The most active companies were Palestine Development and Investment, Palestine Telecommunications, Palestine Islamic Bank, Palestine Real Estate Investment Co and Palestine Electric Co with a trading volume reaching 68.76 THD, 64.02 THD, 55.43 THD, 24 THD and 3.9 THD shares respectively.
