A.M. Best has affirmed the financial strength rating of A- (Excellent) and the issuer credit ratings of "a-" of Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance Company. In addition, the outlook for both ratings is stable.


Moreover, the rating agency highlighted that the ratings reflect the Company’s strong capital base, track record of operating performance and enterprise risk management (ERM) capabilities. 


The Company’s net profit reached QAR 172.2 million during the first nine months of 2014, registering a decrease by 77.4%.
