The Board of National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has recommended cash dividend and bonus shares of 35% of the capital or BHD 32.92 million.


The Board of National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has also recommended cash dividend of 25% or BHD 23.52 million ($62.5 million).


Moreover, the Board has also proposed to the shareholders a bonus issue of BHD 9.41 million at the rate of one additional share for every ten shares held (10%). The bonus share issue is proposed to be made through utilization of BHD 9.41 million from the General Reserve, which is subject to regulatory approvals. 


It is worth noting that NBB announced its financial results to the Bahrain Bourse (BB) for the fiscal year (FY) ending December 31, 2014, reporting a rise in net profit by 4%.
