Almarai Co. has said in a statement to Tadawul website that the board accepted the resignation of Chief Executive Officer Eng. Abdul Rahman Al-Fadley.

This resignation, effective as of January 29, came after Al-Fadley was nominated as the Minister for Agriculture in the new government.

The board also decided to nominate Mr. Georges Schorderet as the new CEO .

Schorderet joined Almarai in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Since 2011, he has become the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Schorderet is a certified accountant with an MBA from IMD Business School, Lausanne, Switzerland.
