Cairo-Mubasher: Bahrain Middle East Bank posted net earnings of nearly $4.52 million (BHD 1.7 million) for 2014, against net losses of $4.66 million (BHD 1.76 million) in 2013.

The earnings per share reached nearly 1.87 cents per share, against losses per share of 1.92 cents per share in 2013.

The lender had reported $3.26 million net earnings for the first nine months of 2014, versus $3.3 million net losses in year-earlier period.

The bank operates with $60.5 million capital, divided into 242 million shares at $0.25 par value each.
