Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Refreshments Company (DRC) shareholders approved on Thursday a cash dividend representing 65% of capital, or AED 58.5 million, the company said in a filing to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Sunday.
The company reported a net profit rise of 13.8% to AED 140 million in 2014, compared to AED 123 million in 2013.
DRC, which operates in bottling beverages, is capitalised at AED 90 million, divided on 90 million shares at par value of AED 1 per share. The company holds bottling rights to Pepsi Cola in Dubai, Sharjah and the northern emirates, as well as bottling and distribution rights to 7-Up and Aquafina across the UAE.
