Oman – Mubasher: Sohar Power announced a 41.2% profit plunge in its profits for the first quarter of 2015, reaching OMR 361,000 compared to OMR 614,000 in Q1-14, the company said in a filing to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).

Sohar Power’s annual financials for 2014 suffered a 14% decline in profit reaching OMR 4.416 million compared to OMR 5.137 million in 2013.

The power firm’s capital amounts to OMR 22.1 million divided on 221 million shares.
