Doha Bank said Wednesday that it has launched its operations in India.

The Qatari lender reported a profit of QAR 420 million ($115.35 million) during the first quarter of 2015, compared to QAR 399 million ($109.59 million) during the same period of 2014.

The lender has established overseas branches in Kuwait, Dubai (UAE), Abu Dhabi (UAE) as well as Representative offices in Japan, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Australia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany and Sharjah (UAE).
