Kuwait-Mubasher: Gatehouse Bank, a subsidiary of The Securities House, considers expansion in the GCC states, said Deputy Chairman Ayman Boodai.

The UK-based bank, which has a capital of £150 million, also plans to expand in some European countries, added Boodai, on the sidelines of the ordinary general meeting held on Sunday.

The Securities House’s stake in the bank stood at 42% by the end of 2014.

Boodai noted that Gatehouse increased its real estate investments, with total deals reaching $2.5 billion.

On Sunday, shareholders agreed on withholding dividends for 2014.
