Doha-Mubasher: Masraf Al Rayan and Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) are expected to announce on 13 July their financial statements for the first half ended 30 June, 2015.

Al Rayan reported an 18% rise in profits year-on-year during the period. The profit increase is attributed to the sale of its 50% stake in Seef Lusail Real Estate Development Co to Qatari Diar Infrastructure Company in 2014.  

Qatar Islamic Bank posted QAR 400.4 million worth of profits in the first quarter ended March 31, 2015, compared to QAR 335.4 million in the corresponding period of 2014.
