Cairo-Mubasher: National Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (NBK) posted a rise of 59.8% in net profits for the first half of 2015, as it reached EGP 284 million compared with EGP 177.7 million for the same period of 2014.

The lender's gross profit reached EGP 542.5 million , compared with EGP 240.25 million for the same period of the previous year.

Meanwhile, the bank net profits reached EGP 157.69 million for the second quarter of 2015, an increase of 95.48% from EGP 80.67 million for the similar period of 2014.
