Kuwait-Mubasher: Advanced Technology reported profits of KWD 2 million ($6.6 million) in the first half of 2015, up 7% from KWD 1.87 million ($6.17 million) in H1-14.

H1 profits rise is mainly attributed to gain on bargain purchase of shares in an associate, according to a bourse filing.

The Kuwait-listed healthcare equipment company previously reported a 4.6% profit rise to KWD 1.15 million in Q1-15, compared to figures from Q1-14.
