Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Ras Al Khaimah National Insurance Co. (RAKNIC) announced changes in its board, according to a bourse filing on Monday.

Salem Al Sharhan was elected as chairman of the board after Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi and Roberto Santini resigned. Al Sharhan succeeds Al Qasimi as board chairman.

RAKNIC recently posted surge in its net profits by 233% to AED 19.7 million ($5.3 million) in H2-15 compared to AED 5.9 million ($1.6 million) in the same period the year before.
