Dubai – Mubasher: United Foods Co. (UFC) said that its board will convene on Sunday, 27 September, to discuss the company’s overall work performance as at the end of August, according to a filing to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Sunday.

UFC previously reported a 64.5% leap in its profits to AED 17.86 million ($4.86 million) in the first six months of 2015, compared to AED 10.86 million ($2.96 million) in the corresponding period of 2014.

Net profit for Q2-15 soared by 90.5% to AED 11.4 million, from compared to AED 6 million in Q2-14.
