Kuwait-Mubasher: Al Imtiaz Investment Group recorded a surge of 787% in earnings for the first nine months of 2015 as compared to the corresponding period of 2014.

Profits of the Kuwaiti company soared to KWD 8.87 million ($29.15 million) in 9M-15, up from KWD 1 million ($3.29 million) in 9M-14.

Al Imtiaz said that the nine-month results were strengthened by KWD 7 million profits achieved from available-for-sale investments, as well as KWD 3.9 million netted by the group from better financials of an associate and a KWD 1.1 million sale of an associate .
