Mubasher: Oman Cables Industry (OCAI) announced that the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) that was scheduled to be held yesterday, November 15, didn’t take place for lack of quorum, and it’s going to be held on next Sunday to discuss a proposal to amend the two articles 7 and 14 of the company’s statute.

The Muscat listed company earlier reported a net profit after tax of OMR 19.9 million, versus a profit of OMR 18.4 million in the previous year, with a rise of 8%.  

The annual ordinary general meeting unanimously approved the proposal of distributing a cash dividend of Omani Baisa 90 per share, and allocating OMR 100,000 for society service.
