Mubasher: Oman Cables Industry said on Monday that shareholders, in an Extraordinary General Meeting , unanimously approved a proposal to amend articles number (7) and (14) in the company’s statute.

The article (7), after amendment, says that foreigners and mixed-ownership companies are allowed to buy company’s shares in accordance with laws and practices, and the Article (14) was amended to make the process of transferring the stocks ownership in line with provisions of capital law without an approval by the company’s board.

The annual general meeting earlier agreed on a proposal to distribute cache dividends of 90 Baisa per share.
