Omantel is pleased to announce that Capital Market Authority has provided a no objection for Omantel to issue Sukuk.  In this regard Omantel.  has mandated Standard Chartered Bank as Sole Structuring Advisor, and HSBC, National Bank of Oman S.A.O.G. and Standard Chartered Bank as Joint Placement Agents to arrange investor discussions on its behalf commencing 11 January 2016.   Sukuk transaction denominated in USD and OMR subject to market conditions.
