Mubasher: Muscat Gases Company’s shareholders agreed Sunday on the board of directors’ recommendation to distribute cash dividends at 35% of the capital (35 Baisas per share) for the fiscal year 2015, totalling OMR 1.05 million ($2.73 million).

The company is capitalised at OMR 3 million ($7.79 million) distributed across 30 million shares.

The company’s ordinary general meeting (OGM) earlier approved cash dividends at 40% of the capital (40 Baisas per share) for the fiscal year 2014.

Muscat Gases’ profits declined last year to OMR 1.30 million ($3.38 million) from OMR 1.36 million ($3.5 million) in 2014.

The Muscat listed company’s stock stood at OMR 0.75 ($1.95) in today’s trading.
