Mubasher: Sohar Poultry posted on Wednesday a rise of 19.36% year-on-year in the company’s net profit for the nine-month period ended on 31 March, according to the company’s initial unaudited financial statements.
Initial net reached OMR 323,000 ($836,270) in the first nine months of the fiscal year 2015-16, compared to OMR 270,000 ($699,050) in the same period of fiscal 2014-15.
Total sales came to OMR 6.16 million ($16 million) in the above mentioned period, versus OMR 5.92 million ($15.37 million) a year earlier.
The Muscat listed company earlier reported a net profit of OMR 53,000 ($137,644) in the six-month period ended on 31 December 2015, 73.23% down from OMR 198,000 ($514,218) in the same period of 2014.
