Doha – Mubasher: Al Khaleej Takaful Group announced Sunday that its board of directors accepted the resignation off the company’s CEO, Jassim Al Moftah, upon his request.

According to a bourse filing, Al Moftah will continue in his position till 30 May.

The Qatar-listed company decided to appoint Al Moftah as an advisor to the board of directors to benefit from his administrative and insurance expertise.

The board appointed the company’s Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer, Ali Mohamed Mahmoud, as an acting CEO.
