Cairo – Mubasher: National Company for Maize Products registered a surge in Q1-16 profits by 382.81% year-over-year to EGP11.57 million ($1.3 million) from EGP2.39 million ($270,520), the company said in a bourse filing.

During 2015, the company’s net profit after tax reached EGP70.87 million, compared to EGP83.75 million last year.

The company’s stock quote closed 2.76% higher to EGP1.13 on last Thursday.
