Mubasher: Bahrain Duty Free Shop Complex posted profits worth BHD 1.8 million ($4.76 million) in the first quarter of 2016, the company said in a bourse statement issued Wednesday.

Earnings for Q-16 were 22.55% lower from BHD 2.33 million ($6.14 million) which was achieved in Q1-15.

Gross profit stood at BHD 3.23 million ($8.57 million), 4.72% higher from the earnings reported for Q1-15.

Investment revenues decreased year-on-year by around BHD 426,700 ($1.13 million) in Q1-16.
